About HomeHeatHelper

HomeHeatHelper is a free site for Northeast homeowners who want to pay less to heat their home.

Where our numbers come from

Oil and propane prices come from dealers' own websites, and each one shows the date we checked it. Our savings figures use government fuel prices and local weather data.

How we make money

The site is free because local pros pay us a fee when you ask them for a quote. We send each request to one vetted pro in your area. Nobody can pay to be listed or to move up a list. We sort options by how much they save you.
